Members Tee Off for a Good Cause at 2024 Annual Golf Tournament

The Home Builders Association of Tuscaloosa’s Associates Council hosted its Annual Golf Tournament at the Ol’ Colony Golf Complex in Tuscaloosa. Twenty-four teams competed in this year’s tournament, with Wheats Carpet One Floor & Cabinets serving as the title sponsor.

The day began with lunch sponsored by the Alabama Home Builders Self Insurers Fund and Alabama Power Company and featured three closest to the pin contest holes and one longest drive contest hole. In addition to the 18-hole sponsorships, the event was supported by golf cart sponsor De Novo Homes and beverage cart sponsor Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery.

A portion of the net proceeds from the event will go to HBAT Charities, Inc., the HBAT’s

scholarship arm that is dedicated to workforce development and trades education in Tuscaloosa and the surrounding areas.
